Titipounamu Feather Necklace garnet Approximately 11-12cm wide and 1-3cmTitipounamu, meaning `a mirage or vision of Pounamu in Te Reo Mori, belong to the ancient New Zealand wren family. Tiny little birds weighing about the same as a sheet of paper, Titipounamu were thought by Mori to be one of the messengers of Tne, god of the forest. A sterling silver feather (24mm x 5mm including ring), hand painted with porcelain paint and suspended from a 45cm fine sterling silver chain, with a 5cm extender.
