Description

She requires a new glass eye and some attention to the mechanisms to make them fully operational

heavy in some places making it very decorative

) The daughter is the only one who has the honour of a background and a large rose can also be seen beside her

The paintwork

There is some pastel lacking to the corners and the picture is signed but sadly it is too smudged to be discernable

An Elegant Early 19thC Irish Mahogany Serving Table c.1820-30 sub-Rugs- Carpets & Textiles She requires a new glassOrigin: Irish, Probably Cork Period: Early 19thC Provenance: Unknown Date: c. 1820 30 Height: 34. 5 Width: 67 Depth: 19. 5 Of fine and unusually shallow proportions the well patinated semi elliptical top with reeded edging on five ring turned tapering legs, with a lovely rich colour to the whole, survives from the first quarter of nineteenth century Ireland, and, most likely, Cork. The overall patination and colour to the mahogany is very appealing
