Butterfly Pendants Color:Lepidoptera usually used for scientific glassblowingThese elegant pendants are handmade in New Zealand from test tube glass and filled with ethically sourced butterfly wings. Very few of the wings I use are perfect, but this is part of their appeal to me. You can see that each butterfly has lived, flown, fed and reproduced by the damage to their wings. The butterflies in these earrings have been nurtured and cared for while alive, then preserved forever in my jewellery. The glass vials are about 65mm
