Fully shaped and fairly highly decorated for this era with a textured design on the entire interior. Made of wrought brass. The door plate measures 8 1 2"h x 2 1 4"w. It was made for exterior doors with a cylinder lock and doorknob. It has a hole at the top for a cylinder lock. The distance between cylinder lock hole and doorknob hole is 3 1 2" center
