Made of silk, the back is white with a chrysanthemum pattern, while the front is a soft beige with colorful mon symbols of various designs. This tablecloth is rectangular and has purple and gold tassels on the front two corners. It sits on top of the kyozukue surface. Uchishiki is mainly used by followers of Jodo Shinshu Buddhism
