The hand carved lid is inspired by gentle waves on the surface of the sea shimmering in the moonlight. The grain underneath gives it a wonderful depth suggesting changing tides and a world below. The pot itself is hand turned, stained in a deep blue and then gently rubbed with a light blue wax to pick out the wood grain. This is finished with a wonderful
