Inspired by patterns found in nature tree bark, honeycomb, fish scales, and earth marked by rain these sculptural hoops explore the beauty of organic surfaces. The open hoop form creates a sense of lightness and movement while the textured surface catches shifting highlights and shadows. Each pair is individually cast and finished by hand, making every piece slightly unique. Handcrafted in bronze on Quadra Island, Canada.
