They both exhibit nervousness and a kind of physical ineptitude along with an uneasiness around women

thus the stylized yin yang

which was based on this novel – and therefore I wanted an image that could represent both

I wanted my piece to reflect the duality of human nature that is ever present in the novel, thus the stylized yin yang. I cant read this book without thinking of the film Apocalypse Now, which was based on this novel and therefore I wanted an image that could represent both.
