The backing plate bolts onto the caburator assembly, and the fairing assembly holds the air filter in place. A three inch round duct hose extends forward to the air duct in the front of the fairing assembly. Get nice, cool, pressurized air into the caburator assembly. A must if you are racing a tube chassis Buell with a Grand Prix fairing assembly.
