His music is a little reminiscent of a coming of age film, lost through inimitable melodies, rough punkish chord progressions. Never highlighted through arrogance, Matt encompasses the feelings we all share: life is a bit awkward, uncomfortable, but nonetheless it's pain that enables us to write such half arsed songs.
