In 1945 MOTOKO became the 3rd generation master brewer distiller and the first woman to run a Miyazaki shochu distillery in modern memory. She passed her skills down to her daughter, MASAKO (5th generation master), who is now training Motokos grandaughter MAHOKO to take over one day.
