Preparing a Boat, c1915. Sports; Living Conditions Inscription recto: A Scene ofBlack and white photo of three men working around a dry docked boat in the winter. The life preserver hanging from the roof frame reads "Maple Leaf Dawson". Behind the boat is a Northern Trading & Transportation Company boiler. The three men appear to be Royal North West Mounted Police and they seem to be cleaning the snow out of the boat in preparation for the river breaking. The Yukon River is in the back ground and the view is to the north west.
